Information on the Homeland Security Company
There are numerous different security companies in the United States, some which you have heard of before and some which you have not. Surely you have heard of the Homeland Security name before. If not, then it is quite surprising, as Homeland Security is one of the most well-respected and well-known government organizations in the world.
The History
Homeland Security is the term which is generally used to refer to the broad national effort by all levels of government. This includes federal, state, local, and so on, both internal and external. They are an organization which serves to mobilize and organize the nation of the United States and secure them from terrorist attacks.
This is obviously an exceedingly complex mission, but one which they are more than willing to take on, and which they have taken on now for years. One primary reason for the establishment of Homeland Security was to provide the unifying core for the vast network of organizations and institutions that were already spread out across the U.S.
The vision of Homeland Security is to preserve the rights and freedoms of all Americans, while protecting and watching over the citizens of the nation as best as possible. Their mission is to lead the unified national effort in order to properly secure America, and to prevent and deter terrorist attacks and protect against threats and hazards that take place across the nation.
They have a number of different strategic goals, including awareness, which involves the identifying and understanding of the various threats that are made on the country, and the determining of any potential impacts and disseminate timely information to their partners. As well they offer organizational excellence, and they most value their most important resource of all, which is, of course, their people.
In regards to the department structure of Homeland Security, they leverage resources within federal, state and local governments, and coordinate with the transition of multiple agencies and programs into one single, integrated agency. Strictly focused on protecting the American people and their homeland, Homeland Security can easily be considered as one of the strongest and most effective United States security organizations in the nation.
There is really no other organization that compares, and Homeland has been around for so long that as a nation Americans can really put their faith and trust in the organization to watch out for and protect the United States as best as humanly possible.
